As much as I complain about the various package delivery services, FedEx, UPS, DHL and almost always USPS I actually have a KUDO for one. FedEx. I had a package delivered today. I heard the truck out front. Then my home phone rang with a South Carolina number. So I picked it up.
The lady on the other end said she was from FedEx and just delivered a package to my home. While there, she related that she smelled something “burning” and was concerned. She said that I might want to check my drop cords for my Christmas lights that were on the front porch.
Well, thankfully, nothing was wrong and in fact there was no power going to them. I smelled the odor as well and figured it was coming from the plethora of hair care products currently being used inside my home.
Regardless, how cool is this? Heads up stuff right here. It could have been an issue and she very well could have caught it before we knew. Good stuff FedEx! Contact me if you can give this driver an “atta girl” or I can send her a Starbucks card or something.
