I am sitting here watching the human race devolve into a non-verbal, caveman like species. Communicating on cave walls (Facebook) with pictures not of their own making, using words they did not craft to express a thought they did not formulate on their own. They use acronyms instead of words. They use symbols to express emotion. And they club anyone that disagrees with them without having any discussion other than the methods above.
You can not rely on pictures, symbols and acronyms to express the emotion, tone and intent of a statement. You can not garner the tone and inflection of the voice. You can not see the expressions on the face.
If I didn’t require a “smart phone” for my employment, I would throw this god forsaken thing in the lake and never look back.
And no, the irony of me writing this on my personal cave wall is not lost on me.
