Letter to all the politicians.
I am appalled by the ATF’s pistol ban that forces millions of gun owners to choose among rebuilding our legally purchased property, registering it, destroying it, or going to jail for up to 10 years.
As your constituent and a member of Gun Owners of America, I am urging you to use the Congressional Review Act to pass a Joint Resolution of Disapproval to REPEAL this flagrantly unconstitutional executive action.
And, if Biden vetoes the CRA, I’m expecting Congress to retaliate in defense of our Second Amendment rights by cutting the ATF’s funding so that it cannot enforce this unconstitutional action. FYI: ATF’s budget has gone up almost 25% since President Biden took office!
The fight does not end there, either.
I also urge you to become an original cosponsor of Rep. Clyde’s SHORT Act (that will soon be reintroduced in the House), which goes after the heart of Biden’s pistol ban by deregulating the National Firearms Act that ultimately gives the ATF the power to enforce Biden’s ban.
I will be watching to make sure you take these critical steps necessary to fighting back against the ATF’s pistol ban.
