Facebook Feed Getting Cleaner

By Scott

So about 2 weeks ago I did a mass removal of “friends” on Facebook. People I had never met, and would unlikely ever meet primarily. Or people that the only thing we had in common was a particular page we mutually belonged to. (We can still communicate there.)

Along with that, I am slowly but surely removing pages I have liked that also cluttered my feed with their garbage. And lastly filtering posts (blocking) that I don’t want to see. Politics primarily.

I used to get up in the morning to 30 or more notifications from Facebook. most of which was nonsense from people and pages I really had no connection with.

Today. Three. Three notifications from actual friends. It’s taking much less of my time, it is now enjoyable again to “Facebook”.

Still more to go on the pages. There were literally 100s of them.
