Don’t Post Your Targets

By Scott

Don’t post your targets!

Most everyone that knows me knows that I am a shooter. Many know that I have been involved in deadly force situations. Which also means that I have had to endure the aftermath. The investigation and the rigors of the judicial system, both criminal and civil.

One of the things that I learned through these situations is that EVERYTHING is fair game. Nothing is off the table to be brought up and questioned during this process. NOTHING.

If you display your targets from shooting practice and show a spectacular grouping, and you are later involved in a deadly force situation, this will be examined. Your wonderful accuracy while target shooting compared to your possible inaccuracy during a deadly force encounter.

“Why didn’t you just shoot him in the leg? You are good enough. Did you have to kill him?”

Think about it.
