Dillsboro, NC – Accidental Find Cunningham Knives

By Scott

So yesterday while we were on our way to Sylva, NC we were on an overpass and saw a bunch of “pop up” tents on the street below.  A FESTIVAL or some sort.

We found our way down to the location and parked.  Pretty typical but it was fun walking around and looking.

I found a knife maker there.  And fell in love with his work.  I wish I would have taken a photograph of his displays but I’d rather send you to his website.  I’ve handled his blades and they are awesome.  Most are fairly small compared to what I normally buy.  Cutting edges around 3 inches or so but some nice scales on them.  Gary clearly takes a lot of pride in his work and it shows.

Check out his website by clicking the pic.
