You have no right to bitch…

By Scott

I am laughing my ass off at people bitching about Facebook controlling what they see in their feed.  Or collecting data about their habits on the platform.  Or Google spying on you in your bedroom while you have your Google Mini plugged in and connected.

Guess what!  YOU AGREED TO LET THEM DO IT!

Yes you did.

Every single product that you use that is “connected” to the Internet has an End User License Agreement, Acceptable Use Policy, Terms of Service or something similar that you had to agree to before the product would work.  Every.  Single One.

So you use Chrome as your browser?  Guess what.  When you installed it you had to agree to the Terms of Use.  You probably checked a little box and breezed right on with your day.  You gave permission for Google to collect your browsing data and habits and use it for their marketing.  To you and marketing OF you.

Brand new Windows 10 machine?  SAME THING with Microsoft.

Who reads those things?  Well I do.  ANd I know what Facebook is doing and Google and Microsoft.  And I frankly don’t give a damn.  But if you click that little check bx and agree and install the program, or boot the computer, or turn on your Alexa or Echo Dot and didn’t bother reading it?

You need to sit down and shut the fuck up.
