I ordered the Aimaculate AR-15 Folding Stock Adapter directly from their website. After a significant delay in shipping from their facility in Miami, Florida, it finally arrived.
Having built on the AR platform for many years and successfully used other reputable folding stock adapters (such as the LAW Tactical Folding Stock Adapter), I had high expectations. However, upon unboxing the Aimaculate adapter, I was immediately disappointed by its lack of quality and cheap feel. It felt subpar right out of the package.
My intention was to install the adapter on an AR-15 with a binary fire control system. However, after examining the product, I decided it would be safer not to proceed with the installation.
I reached out to Aimaculate to express my concerns and to inquire about the return process for a refund. Here is their response:
Dear Scott,
I hope this message finds you well. We are deeply sorry to hear that you wish to return the product you recently purchased. Regardless of the circumstances that have led to your decision, it is my duty to inform you that for us to get the product into your hands, the company incurs unavoidable operational and administrative expenses that are included in the product’s price.
However, if you choose to proceed with the return, please understand that the expenses incurred by your purchase have already been covered by our company. Therefore, to partially cover these operational costs, we can offer you a refund of 60% of the purchase amount.
If you agree to this proposal, please let us know so that we can provide you with the address where you should send the returned product. We appreciate your understanding and hope to resolve this situation satisfactorily for both parties.
We remain at your disposal for any questions or concerns you may have.
Sincerely,
Ema
